Bring On The Marvel!!

“I want to go some place where I can marvel at something”, says Julia Roberts’ character in her new movie release, Eat, Pray, Love. I’ve only seen the trailer but it sounds like the story of humanity through the ages. On the one hand that cry has driven explorers to sail
uncharted seas, to scale the highest peaks, and to …land on the surface of the moon. At the same time humanity’s propensity to expect “marvel” always seems to be centered around something rather than Someone. So Julia Roberts’ character goes to Italy, India and Bali in search of marvel.
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth” That’s marvel for me…..Marvel enough for me….. Humanity’s quest for marvel…or Marvel’s quest for humanity.???…you choose.
