The NC Conference has activated a disaster response call center at the United Methodist Building (700 Waterfield Ridge Place, Garner) in readiness for Hurricane Irene. Additionally, the United Methodist Men are working at the Conference warehouse in Goldsboro (formerly MERCI Center) to provide logistics and storm response/recovery support.
